Principal, Barry Kohler Consulting; 22 years as an attorney practicing mainly family, law and estate planning/trusts and estates, I became a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner. Subsequently,  became the Director of the Trust and Wealth Management Group at Androscoggin Bank, which position I left until 2014
Sole professional activity for the last several years has been Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), primarily mediation. Active in Family Matters Mediation Roster, Member of Court Alternative Dispute Resolution Service Committee; Mediator and an arbitrator panel member for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA)

C. FORMAL DISPUTE RESOLUTION TRAINING
40-hour mediation course, Opportunity Alliance; additional training in the following areas: transformative mediation, non-defensive communication, non-violent mediation techniques, family law, domestic violence, avoiding impasse, inter-cultural communication, and working with high conflict disputes

Volunteer mediations for Family and Community Mediation (FCM), family law/divorce cases, and business/commercial matters

F. FEES
Hourly rate plus expenses. Generally, hourly rate is $250 per hour, but willing to consider reduced fee.
